What do you define as success?

For us, success is intricately tied to the dynamic growth of our presence across social platforms, where we strive to cultivate a community that resonates with our brand values. We measure success not only in terms of follower numbers but in the authentic engagement and awareness our brand generates. Our ultimate goal is to secure impactful brand deals and foster paid sponsorship relationships with like-minded companies, leveraging these collaborations to amplify our influence while concurrently nurturing the expansion of our clothing line, podcast, Influencer and wrapping paper businesses.

We are passionate about creating content and engaging in partnerships that encourage and showcase healthy depictions of black love, parenting, family dynamics and fashion. By actively seeking collaborations that align with our values, we aim to use our platform not only for business growth but also as a vehicle to inspire and uplift our community with empowering and genuine representations.

How do you balance your personal and professional lives as business partners?

Establishing a healthy work/life balance is so important to us. We work really well together and luckily, we actually enjoy it. Because we enjoy it, sometimes work doesn’t feel like work. It feels like quality time instead. We do find it very important to dedicate time to our children and make it a priority to continue dating each other.

What challenges have you faced as a couple running a business together?

Our biggest challenge as a couple in business has been maintaining a clear separation between our personal and professional lives. We are workaholics and establishing work hours and sticking to them has been one of our biggest struggles

What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring and new entrepreneurs?

Be passionate about the work, not just the dream. Do it afraid. Find a mentor that’s willing to teach and give you advice.
