As the CEO and Founder of Wise, Armstrong and Associates, LLC, what are the services you provide?

Shaniece: Wise, Armstrong and Associates, LLC is a business coaching and consulting firm that specializes in helping women in business expand well beyond six and seven figures by simplifying their business while multiplying their revenue. As the CEO and Founder, I use my expertise to help clients gain visibility, increase revenue profitability, and improve systems and strategies. My business coaching and consulting is backed by spiritual and biblical principles which puts me in a niche of my own.

We admire your great work as Certified Business Expansion Coach and Strategist. How does this career make an impact on your clients?

Shaniece: The work that I do makes an impact on my clients because many business owners know their industry, but they do not know the business behind it. For example, my client who is in the Tech Industry knew her industry, but she needed help with the business strategy and making sure she was set up the right way. She needed to understand how to set up her Human Resource Department; what salary to pay her employees; key areas she was leaving money on the table; and what else could she do to grow her revenue. Most business owners do not know how to scale and go to their next level. They do not know what systems and strategies are needed to build a business that generates high- level revenue and will stand the test of time. My company provides the strategy behind business growth and expansion.

Congratulations on becoming a best-selling author! Please tell us about some of your latest books and what they mean to you.

Shaniece: My latest book, Activating Your Gifts:15 Steps to Identifying Your Gifts To Prepare For Entrepreneurship, 2nd Edition is based on the work I did to figure out what I loved doing so much I never wanted to retire or stop doing it, and then positioning myself to turn my gift into a profitable business.

I believe God gives us all amazing gifts and there are too many people who go to their graves not fully utilizing their gifts. The goal of this book is to help entrepreneurs use their gifts to be a blessing to others and to show that replacing your income is possible.

What do you enjoy most about being a business owner? 

Shaniece: What I enjoy most about being a business owner is it allows me to use my gifts to help serve others. I believe entrepreneurship is all about serving, it is ministry for me. I love seeing my clients win.

What does the rest of the year look like for you?

Shaniece: I believe what I do as a Business Expansion Coach is very impactful and needed, to help guide business owners that are scaling to their next level. My focus this year is all about growing my visibility. It is all about reaching the masses to connect to my target audience. Connecting to the business owners who need the services that I provide is needed more now, than ever before.

What are some business tips you can share with us that will help entrepreneurs increase their revenue?

Shaniece: Here are three tips that you can use to increase your revenue.

1. Know what to outsource. Your core competencies should always stay in-house, but there are some things that need to be outsourced. Entrepreneurs must understand that they cannot do everything, and there are some things they should not be doing. I always tell my clients the following: Your goal is to work on your business instead of working in it.

2. Build a team and begin to remove yourself. Eventually, to scale your business, you must be able to pass on your skills and knowledge to become duplicatable. It is about hiring the right people who can do your job.

3. Build a company that will always solve a problem — this increases the demand. For example, as a Business Expansion Coach and Strategist, there are always businesses that need to expand their current streams of revenue. There is always a need for my service. It is important for business owners to always make sure there is always a need for your product or service.
