The Importance of Balancing Work and Life With Best-Selling International author and Playwright, Dana Hicks-Hungerford

Dana Hicks-Hungerford is an entrepreneur, actress, playwright, producer, casting director, and best-selling international author is a busy woman but she is here to tell us that work and life balance is vital. As busy as she is, Dana still makes time to spend with her husband, daughter, mother, brothers, nieces, nephews, In-Laws, and friends. She has been through things throughout her life that showed Dana that tomorrow is not promised. Dana is intentional about showing the people that she loves that they are truly important to her. She will never let making money or working consume her life and take her focus away from the people that mean the most to her.

Dana Hicks-Hungerford is also the Co-Founder of Hungerford Distribution and Hungerford Real Estate & Development and the Co-Creator of the Underdog Tour.

What do you define as success?

Dana: Having a vision and implementing the work that it takes to make your desires and dreams true.

What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring and new entrepreneurs?

Dana: Never give up on things that you are passionate about. Ignore your naysayers and always tune out the noise. Most importantly believe in yourself even if nobody else does.

Who is your business role model? Why?

Dana: My business role model is my husband Brian. Whatever he sets his mind to he makes it happen and he does effortlessly. We have the same type of drive and determination and he inspires me daily.

What is your proudest business accomplishment?

Dana: Writing a script then Producing it with my husband and having a successful sold out show that ran so smoothly, as if we had been in the theater game forever. That sense of accomplishment is something that truly can’t be explained.
