Meka’s company Skin Beauty Bar located in Washington, DC was founded in 2004 focusing on self-care and beauty treatments. They offer facials, waxing, sugaring, teeth whitening, ear candling, brow tinting, eyelash lifts, and tints. The team of estheticians combined have over 30 years of experience.

How do you define success?

Meka: Success is defined by those acknowledging your business as the innovator. This success is evident in our continued years in business in Washington, DC.

Why is self-care so important?

Meka: Self-care is important because it offers an individual a chance to decompress. Those that indulge in self-care have more of a life balance and an overall positive outlook on life. This results in those people being more effective in their workspace as well as their overall well-being.
