Women In Business To Watch: Komfort Kollection Owner, Kelli Webb

Veteran Media Professional, and Entrepreneur, Kelli Webb started her adult career working in corporate America and that experience allotted her several skills and experiences that she has carried over into her starting and operating her current businesses. After becoming ill at work and leaving Corporate America for good in May of 2014, Kelli started her career in the entertainment industry modeling and acting, which is where she fell back in love with the position of being behind the scenes.

In 2015, Kelli launched her Atlanta-based company, at the time, PureDyamond Enterprises, which was re-launched due to the name change to Dyamond Enterprises in 2016, specializing in Public Relations and Events. In March of 2020 (pre-pandemic shutdown), announcing the official launch of the Professional Organizing company KNK Design, and the Luxury Comfort Boutique Komfort Kollection, with the first collection release being the “Komfort Kandles” luxury candle line. Never having a belief in limitations or limiting oneself, her radio show Kasual Konvo launched on September 6, 2021, on f2gradio.net.

We Empower Magazine obtained an exclusive interview with Kelli.

If someone were to ask you who is Kelli Webb, what would your reply be?

Kelli: I would have to say that I am a God-fearing and fairing woman. I am a strong, black educated woman that is determined, faith focus and loyal, and a proud mother to two amazing young women. I believe in following your dreams and bringing them to reality, which is also how I became an entrepreneur, publicist, and journalist.

As a mom, publicist, business owner, and highly sought out media professional, how do you balance your time between parenthood and your passion?

Kelli: That’s an interesting question and kind of funny. To be honest, I’m still working on that. Because my children are now 19 and 21, it’s a lot easier to balance family time with them because I include them when they are available now. For me, my business is important, but after God, my family; my children will always come first. I will never say it’s an easy balance, but I strive to always let them know that I’m here whenever they need me, even when I have to multitask. One thing both of my girls will do is say, “It’s Only My Time Right Now,” that lets me know… ok everything stops no matter what it is and she needs all my attention.

You’re also the CEO/Founder and Sr. publicist with Dyamond Enterprises. How is it for you being both a journalist and a publicist? Are you currently seeking new clients, if so what kind?

Kelli: Yes we are currently accepting new clients. As a PR, Branding, and Marketing Agency, we specialize in lifestyle, small business, bridal, and faith-based. Being a publicist and journalist can be a lot, but it’s amazing at the same time. I love to see people win and that is why I do it… whether it’s my clients or doing a feature, it’s seeing others win for me.

How did you come to be a writer at Sheen Magazine and how has your journey been so far?

Kelli: I’ve been writing since middle school and I knew that was a major outlet for me. When I was given the opportunity to start writing for Sheen for 6 amazing years and this journey has been one for the record books… in a good way. I was beyond the definition of nervous because that’s my name going into a national publication. Now, it’s an honor to be allowed the opportunity to meet, speak and be the person trusted to share someone’s success story, their brand/business.

Congratulations on the launch of your business Komfort Kollection! Please tell us what this venture means to you and the products you provide?

Kelli: First, thank you sincerely, and I give all the thanks to God for this. Launching Komfort Kollection was literally the scariest ever for me. I was giving birth to my newest child and I was praying that it was too soon, that I was actually ready, that I wouldn’t mess up, and then 16 days after launching the pandemic shut the world down. Komfort Kollection was birthed from my personal love of being or having the same type of comfort no matter if I’m at home, the office, traveling, at a hotel, etc. I believe that you should never have to sacrifice your comfort for any reason.

What else would you like our readers to know about you?

Kelli: There’s so much more to come. I know that God hasn’t even scratched the surface yet, and I’m excited to see ever where HE is about to have me go.

Any shoutouts you want to give?

Kelli: Yes, thank you! I have to thank you, Tammy, of course for this opportunity. My daughters Jade and Jada for being my WHY for so long and being a motivation and my cheerleaders. My team Ty’Nelle, B. Snow, Amber J, and Nailah, everyone that has supported me, and my company, of course, my Komfort Kollection customers and DE clients. But over everything else, God, because HE blessed me with all of this.
