Manna Juice Bar Is The Brainchild of Owners, Dominick and Kristi Andrew
Manna Juice Bar is the brainchild of owners, Dominick and Kristi Andrew. As parents, artists, an athlete, and a pharmacist, this team has collaborated with a food scientist to encourage a balanced lifestyle through the fast, fresh, and efficient nutrition provided in cold-pressed juice, The idea and principles of Manna Juice Bar were founded in 2016, through their search for healthier options for their family, and to fuel their lifestyles. With hard work, and dedication over the years, they have found what they believe to be the perfect recipes to supply nutrients, in unique yet very delicious combinations. We had the pleasure of interviewing this amazing duo about their brand and their backstories.
Kristi, Tell us about yourself. Where did you grow up? What was your childhood like?
Kristi: I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, where I attended Xavier University of LA a received a doctorate in Pharmacy. New Orleans is a very close-knit city full of culture! I spent my childhood eating snowballs and crawfish on Lake Pontchartrain, riding bikes with my cousins, and playing in City Park. I started my career there, and fell in love there also! I worked in pharmacy retail for 6 years before we moved to the DFW area, and became parents. Here I advanced in my career, becoming a pharmacy manager, and then a pharmacy director before transitioning full-time operations with Manna Juice Bar.
Dominick, Same question.
Dominick: I was raised in New Orleans as well. Most of my time in childhood was spent playing basketball and spending a lot of time with my parents at church because my father is a pastor. I attended Delgado CC, and then SiTanka Huron University in South Dakota, where I played collegiate basketball. I obtained my CDL and drove trucks for several years, but I always felt destined to be an entrepreneur. While we were building Manna Juice Bar, I was also building Studio 722 Digital Media where I am currently the owner and photographer/videographer/director. I produce films music videos, commercials, weddings, short films, and also lifestyle and branding photos.
