Angelica Prescod Discusses Her Perspective On Inclusivity Opportunities For Business Owners

Angelica Prescod is on a mission to cultivate and nurture ‘aha’ moments for business owners while keeping a keen eye on opportunities for inclusivity. Angelica: I’m a world changer. I am an equity provider. I’m a norm disrupter. I’m a rational optimist. I’m an igniter for revolutionary change.

What type of steps from your perspective can be made for inclusivity opportunities?

Angelica: Leading with applicable education and relatable presentations of what overcoming obstacles and creating significance and purpose with our daily choices can change the trajectory of where your life and your fingerprint ends up.

Please tell us what projects or endeavors you are currently involved with at the moment?

Angelica: I work with a refugee clinic to keep medical support as a centerpiece for equitable change. I volunteer with foundations from New York all the way to California providing guidance to the younger community concerning educational choices.

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do? 

Angelica: Seeing people go beyond their concept of themselves. Seeing the generational impact that knowledge when applied into action can create a new destination for each of them and their communities. Knowing that my actions, my fingerprints will be impacting generations hundreds of years in the future.

What are some super fun facts about yourself that many people are not aware of?

Angelica: I sing really well, I’m a great salsa dancer, I’m a great counselor and I absolutely love tasting new foods.

What can we expect from you for the remainder of the year?

Angelica: More conferences and conversations stimulating the masses to think beyond themselves and impact in a way that cannot be forgotten.

What else would you like for us to know about you?

Angelica: I absolutely love keeping uncomfortable conversations present. With laughter and truth, we can resolve and remove the blocks to achieve even more than we can expect. I’m working on a podcast and a book.
