Interview With Glamourage Boutique Founder, Brenda Mancheno

Glamourage Boutique is an online fashion boutique aiming to empower women through style. A concept of leadership, empowerment, and elegance. A focus on community and the belief that together we can and will accomplish all things wanted in style!

The magnetic and impactful brand is known as the brand that motivates and represents women from all walks of life. More than selling a product, the goal is to make every woman feel valued, and limitless. Being dressed for success is the cherry on top. Glamourage Boutique plans to build a community of women who can be mentors to each other; providing them access to career advice and fashion advice.

We Empower Magazine got an exclusive interview with Glamourage Boutique Founder, Brenda Mancheno.

What inspired you to start your company?

Brenda: The inspiration was to have something to call my own where I could pay it forward and share business tips and knowledge that I’ve gained through my career to other women. Holding leadership roles in very male-dominated industries taught me a lot about positioning myself to have a seat at the table and share my voice. The idea was to not only dress women to feel confident and empowered but to share the message that they too could be a “boss” in whatever way that may mean to them.

What impact do you want Glamourage Boutique to make in women’s lives?

Brenda: I want Glamourage to be a positive space where women can feel inspired and learn from other women. We showcase clients who have their own businesses and celebrate their success stories. “The Glam Entourage” is a community that spreads the message that while it’s important to look and feel your best, having goals, ambition and substance is also important.

What do you love most about being an entrepreneur?

Brenda: What I love the most is being able to see my visions come to life. Whether it be in the form of a photoshoot, new collections or social media campaigns, my mind is always thinking about the next project and it is a great creative outlet. It’s also a great feeling to feature so many other women and know that there’s a bigger purpose behind my business.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Brenda: I love to read motivational books and spend time with friends, family and of course my dog Toby!

How would you describe your fashion style?

Brenda: I would describe my sense of style to be very chic and feminine which I think is reflected through Glamourage! I love textures, sparkle, and colors as well as having unique statement pieces that you could dress up or down.

When you think of women empowerment, what comes to mind?

Brenda: The first thing that comes to mind is strength-body and mind. It means taking care of yourself in every way to become the best version of yourself. It’s the motivation and confidence that comes as a byproduct of believing in yourself- and that takes a lot strength.

Brenda: Don’t be afraid to reinvent yourself and try new trends. We are multifaceted and our fashion sense can reflect that!

Any other projects or endeavors you’re currently working on?

Brenda: Yes, too many to mention but all very exciting! Amazing things are coming down the road for Glamourage and we can’t wait to share them with everyone.

What advice would you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

Brenda: Identify people in your life who have aspired to reach their goals. Pick their brains, learn from others. Educate yourself. It took me years of preparation and research to narrow down what was important to me and what I wanted my brand to reflect. Success does not happen over night, but the more you prepare yourself with business acumen and financial literacy, the better equipped you will be to run a successful business.
