Zoevera Jackson

Thank you for your service! How did your experience in the military play a part in creating ZBody LLC?

Zoevera: My experience in the military is what led me to create ZBODY LLC. As an officer, I was a leader who inspired others to do their very best and to be their very best. As part of the job of being in the military, you must be able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test and to fit both the daily fatigue military uniform and the formal dress uniform. I created ZBODY LLC while still serving in the military as a way to not only stay in shape but also as a way to help others to stay physically fit as well.

What can our readers expect from your books “Yoga with My Foster Mom” and “Journey to Yogi Fine Fit: Total Mindy & Body Transformation”?

Zoevera: From these two books readers can expect to learn about the importance of having a daily yoga practice. In my first book, Journey to Yogi Fine Fit I share how I was able to heal myself and immerse myself in daily yoga practice for mental and physical healing.

This book includes pictures of yoga poses, yoga sequences, and the health benefits of each pose. In the Yoga with my Foster mom audiobook, I have a description of how to get into each pose and an E-Flip book. also include the benefits of each pose on both the mind and the body. The Yoga with my Foster Mom book really encourages families to practice yoga together.

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do as a TV Host?

Zoevera: What I love about the work that I do as a TV host is the ability to have a platform where I can showcase yoga through the eyes of a black female yoga teacher and also showcase how yoga is being used by other black yoga teachers, black parents, and black families to promote long-term health and wellness.

Through my show, I am able to not only represent black yoga teachers but also encourage young black boys and young black girls to become yoga teachers for life balance and overall good health. Through my new T.V. segment on FOX5 Plus, The Capital Forum I hope to change the daily habits of all viewers by showing them the various ways in which they can use yoga and yogic living to provide peace, life balance, self-management, and self-care in their lives and in the lives of their loved ones.

What are you currently working on?

Zoevera: I am working on a pitch for a NETFLIX film that defines the title, “The Yoga Entrepreneur Extraordinaire” through my eyes and my experiences in order to promote a Yogic Lifestyle among Black men, black women, black children, and black families. Right now I am just visualizing it and writing down how I envision this story being told. I want to focus on all that is positive and also bring to light some of the challenges that I faced as a black yogi, yoga teacher, and Yoga book author.

I am also working on collaborating and partnering with other Yoga Teachers and Yoga Trainers to provide Yogic Life Master Classes, Workshops, and Retreats to promote better self-Care and Self-Management.

What is a quote that you live by?

Zoevera: Actually I have three

1) Believe it! Achieve it! Do it! This was one of our cheers that we chanted as high school cheerleaders that I has continuously used to manifest my dreams and my goals all throughout my life.

2) You meet people and they can either be A Reason, A Season or a Lifetime and I feel like I am experiencing all three right now.

3) When one door closes there is always another that will open for you, but you must always be ready to receive it, especially if you have asked GOD to make it a reality for you.

When you think of women empowerment, what comes to mind?

Zoevera: When I think of women empowerment I think of Choice and Opportunity. For me, it is Self Love and enabling ourselves as a woman to prioritize ourselves and our needs to live life on our own terms whether it is in the workplace, at home, or as an entrepreneur.

What are you looking forward to in 2022?

Zoevera: Partnerships, Collaborations, and expansion through Government contracting opportunities and grant funding. Maybe even opening a home studio.

How can we keep up to date with you?

Zoevera: I can be reached at my business page www.zbodyllc.com which links to my author page and my non-profit 3H Yoga Foundation, Inc.
