Nydria L. Williams is a Minister and Best-selling Author of Manifest Believe Receive Journal and Workbook, self-published; and the anthology Radical Woman: 1 in a Million. She is the CEO of Revitalized Hope and Healing, private Christian counseling, coaching, and consulting practice where she helps individuals reclaim hope that has been lost.

Nydria has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Nydria has worked in the field of mental health for the last 17 years. She is an advocate for mental health and a serial Entrepreneur. She uses a holistic approach to healing and empowerment which includes physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Nydria is passionate about individuals learning to stop settling in the “Un” state- being uncomfortable, unhappy, and feeling unworthy. She trains/coaches/ speaks and teaches individuals to demand what they deserve and desire.

Raised in Philadelphia, PA, Nydria lives with her husband and blended family of two teenage boys and Old English Bulldog, in the Philadelphia area. Nydria recently presented as a keynote speaker at the National Virtual Comeback Champion Summit. She serves as an Associate Minister at her church and a Leader of the Missions Ministry. She is currently working on her next independent publication.

We Empower Magazine got an exclusive interview with Nydria L. Williams.

Please tell us about Revitalized Hope and Healing and how it came about?

Nydria: I was once that girl that lost hope due to experiences and my environment. I then grew up into that woman that was hunted by those times and in turn, hopelessness settled in again. When you lose hope it’s a temporary thing, you need inspiration, encouragement, and support for it to be restored.

Revitalized Hope/ ReHope was established because I wanted a brand that signified that you could reclaim your hope that was lost. You can relive and renew your spirit and hope can be established again. People are stuck because they don’t believe things are possible because their hope has been killed, hope must be revived!

What inspired you to write the book Radical Woman: 1 in a Million?

Nydria: I was asked to be a part of this anthology by the visionary Ayanna Mills-Ambrose. I was honored, jumped at the chance, but I must admit once I realized I had to dig deep and tell my story I was challenged. Then I realized this wasn’t just about me, there are millions of women out there that need to know that they are not alone, what they are/were feelings happen to others and there is support.

The title of my chapter is “What Ever Happened to a Dream Deserved?” I’ve always had big dreams in my mind that nested in my heart, but there were several times I felt so beat and weigh down, I never thought I would achieve them. There were other times, my self-esteem and confidence were destroyed, I thought I didn’t deserve them. I never stopped fighting, there was that little voice in me, that would talk me out of it, and that was God. He reassured me I was deserving, so I fought against all odds and demanded what I deserved!

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?

Nydria: I enjoy the transformation. The idea is that women understand what they can do for themselves, that they are worth it. They sometimes arrive empty and defeated. When I see them leave so full and feeling like they can conquer the world, I am satisfied. Knowing that I made some sort of impact, each and every day fuels my soul.

When you think of women empowerment, what comes to mind?

Nydria: Women empowerment means motivating the next woman to help them obtain all they deserve in life, inspiring to believe it is possible, and creating change that transcends to future generations.

What is a super fun fact about yourself that many people are not aware of?

Nydria: My first entrepreneurial venture was the hair business, which started in 10th grade out of my parents’ basement and continued until my junior year of college at Temple University off campus. Never formally trained, just a natural skill, that people trusted and paid for.

What are you looking forward to in 2022?

Nydria: Writing my independent publication from my chapter in Radical Woman, Radical Woman: 1 in a Million on bookshelves, The Hope After Storms Podcast, interviews, book signings/ tours.
