Let’s be honest, finding your “purpose” in life isn’t an easy task. And, once you’ve found your purpose, it may be hard to figure out how to turn it into a successful business. This is where Lee comes in. Lee Whetstone is a Purpose Coach, Brand Marketer, Mompreneur, and the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning publication Leading with Lee Magazine. In addition to running her magazine, she helps women discover what their wallet-lining skills are through her new coaching program. The Leading with Purpose Coaching Program is a 12-week, step-by-step, 1-on-1 coaching program designed for ambitious, hard-working women who want to live passion-filled lives and create purpose-driven businesses.
In the program, women receive hands-on guidance and accountability as they take their first steps on the path to passion, purpose, and profits so they can:
- Get eagle-eye insights into their branding strategy
- Discover how to create authentic content that best represents the real them
- Craft, develop and embody their own leadership identity
- Discover what their wallet-lining skills are
- Price their products and packages for profit
- Set up auto-pilot systems and processes that let them live their lives and build a business
- And so much more!
It took YEARS of grueling away doing work she didn’t enjoy and getting paid at low to moderate rates while building up her side hustle to get where she is now. This is the reason why Lee enjoys coaching women entrepreneurs on how to create and grow purpose-driven businesses. “It didn’t matter if I made $100k or $50k a year, I was unhappy, unfulfilled, and frankly, uninspired because those positions didn’t align with my purpose” To date, Lee has successfully helped her clients’ level up in their businesses through proven systems and now, she’s opening the doors for more women to experience how impactful a purpose-driven business can be with her program.
We Empower Magazine got an exclusive interview with Lee.
As a mompreneur, how do you balance career and family?
Lee Whetstone: I became intentional with my time. I had to remind myself that work was work and spending time with family and friends meant just that. I communicate with my 5-year old daughter on a daily basis so that she knows that mommy isn’t ignoring her when I’m on the computer and that once I’m finished at a certain time, we can play together. It’s hard at times but for the most part, using my time wisely has benefited me and my loved ones.
What is your sole purpose in life?
Lee Whetstone: My sole purpose in life is to inspire others to be the best version of themselves.
What are some of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Lee Whetstone: I had the chance to interview Angela Yee of Power 105 FM The Breakfast Club. I met her at an event that my publication Leading with Lee was covering and she invited my team and I to the station to interview her. That was amazing. She’s such a sweet person. Actually, the whole Breakfast Club team was really nice. Another memorable moment was receiving an award in 2016 for magazine of the year.
What are you looking forward to?
Lee Whetstone: I’m looking forward to helping as many people as I can grow and sustain purpose-driven businesses through my 12-week Leading with Purpose program.
When you think of women’s empowerment, what comes to mind?
Lee Whetstone: Sisterhood, strength, and uplifting one another.
What do you want your legacy to look like?
Lee Whetstone: My goal is to help as many people as I can win on a personal and professional level, all while being the best mom that I can be to my daughter. Therefore, I want to leave knowing that I was a great mom, leader, boss, friend, sister, and daughter who served and helped as many people as I could.
