We Empower Magazine got an exclusive interview with Candice.

How did Everything She Is Co. come about?

Candice: Everything She Is Co. was born out of my dedication to healing myself. When I found myself at the lowest point of my life, bubble baths and IG quotes didn’t help. I needed something that would fulfill me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. In desperation, I turned to the internet to find solutions to my feelings of shame and guilt. However, I was still met with feelings that left me stagnant.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and put together exercises and prompts that forced me to do some self-reflection. Unknowingly, that was the beginning of the foundation for the Self-Love Workbook. Through redefining myself, I realized there are other young women and girls that are dealing with the same emotions. Everything She Is Co. is a brand that helps young women and girls through the healing journey through an accountable and compassionate lens.

How do you use your platform to empower others?

Candice: Vulnerability has always been most important to me when it comes to my platform. I show my ups, downs, and everything in between. I get real and raw about where I’m hurting and what I have learned about womanhood. The reasoning for my transparency stems from the hopes of empowering others to embrace their own unique story with compassion.

What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?

Candice: Having the opportunity to connect with so many other amazing women is hands down the most rewarding part of what I do. As a content creator and the founder of ESI, I’ve learned that all women share some of the same experiences.

Juneteenth is approaching, what does Juneteenth mean for you?

Candice: Juneteenth commemorates how far we’ve come but it also reminds us of how much further we have to go. However, despite the trials we’ve endured, I am proud to be a Black woman and use my platform to help celebrate the multi-dimensional Black experience.

What are you currently working on?

Candice: I’m currently pouring everything I have into scaling my business! I truly believe in our mission and our values and want Everything She Is Co. to become the trusted source for healing young girls and women around the world.

When you think of women’s empowerment, what comes to mind?

Candice: Creating space. I believe that at the core, women empowerment is not only about camaraderie but about us tuning in to our needs and creating safe spaces for each other to thrive socially, economically, spiritually, etc.

What would you like our readers to know about you?

Candice: Though my mission is radical self-love, I don’t have it all figured out. I am simply inviting women to invest in their own journey. There is no graduation date for healing but the steps we take every day do matter.

What do you want your legacy to look like?

Candice: Most people want to be known as a champion but I want my legacy to be a catalyst in helping young girls and women find the champion in themselves.
