Meet Necoya Tyson! She is the creator of Mornings are for Mimosas & Mimosa Fest. She’s an expert in all things Mimosas! As an expert event planner, she has turned her creativity into Mimosas. Her fun-loving and community-based spirit will soon feature the new Mimosa Fest and also the event series, Mornings are for Mimosas.

Her gift of providing decor delights and hospitality expertise will flourish through her newest ventures. Both events will safely provide an upbeat networking atmosphere for the community and event professionals.

We Empower Magazine got an exclusive interview with Necoya.

Tammy Reese: Who is Necoya Tyson?

Necoya Tyson: I’m a mom, a lover of all things brunch and mimosas, and someone who just loves to have fun and see the positives in life

Tammy Reese: As the creator of the Mimosa Fest, what experience do you want attendees to get out of it?

Necoya Tyson: Think boozy, bougie, brunchie day party! Their experience will be like no other. I want people to have fun, feel free, and enjoy trying out new mimosas while meeting new people who may end up being their lifelong friends or brunch partners.

Tammy Reese: Please tell us about Mornings are for Mimosas for those who may not be aware?

Necoya Tyson: Mornings are for Mimosas started off as a wedding planning workshop for brides & grooms. It was created to help answer the questions that they had when it came to the wedding planning process. It has since evolved into a networking event for those in the wedding & event planning industry. So, anyone that touches an event should be there! We’re planning the networking events in the following cities this year: Austin, TX, Tysons Corner, VA, Charleston, SC, and Las Vegas, NV.

Tammy Reese: What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?

Necoya Tyson: I enjoy meeting new people and connecting others with the people/services that they need.

Tammy Reese: What other projects or endeavors are you currently involved with?

Necoya Tyson: Right now I’m just continuing to grow my business; All About You Event Management, evolve Mornings are for Mimosas and get Mimosa Fest off the ground and ready for 2022!

Tammy Reese: How do you use your resources or platform to empower others?

Necoya Tyson: One of the things that we’ve been doing is Motivational Monday and Feature Fridays on our social media platforms. Motivational Mondays is where we put up a motivational quote to encourage our fellow entrepreneurs. Feature Fridays is when we feature an industry peer/vendor that we’ve worked with or would like to work with.

Tammy Reese: How has being an entrepreneur made an impact on you personally?

Necoya Tyson:  Personally, being an entrepreneur has taught me to be resilient, resourceful and to always stay ready for opportunities that may come my way.

Tammy Reese: What else would you like for our readers to know about you or the Fest?

Necoya Tyson: Mimosa Fest will be the event that you can’t miss! While the event will be held in Austin, TX, we hope to see people from all over in attendance.

Tammy Reese: Any Mimosa recommendations for National Mimosa Day?

Necoya Tyson: Yes! The strawberry lemonade mimosa. It consists of lemon vodka, strawberry lemonade, and top it off with your favorite prosecco or champagne.
