Just in time for Valentines Day, fashionista, celebrity stylist, and TV personality Shatava Lindsey unveiled her hot new ‘LACE ME OUT’ Collection, but the celebrity CEO wants all the ladies to know that this collection is not just for that special day, but it’s hot for a number of seasons and quite a few reasons.
The OurGlass brand recently saw amazing results with the last line they dropped around Christmas 2020 with the release of the “Dripped in Graffiti” collection. The collection sold out in about three weeks and even had the amazing musical talent Amara Le Negra rocking the Dripped in Graffiti Jumpsuit in her new upcoming video.
In a statement CEO of OurGlass, Shatava Lindsey says, “This new collection is about loving and embracing who you are no matter what size you are. I find myself looking to embracing the art of curves for most curvy women. The OURGLASS woman is bold and fearless and the Lace Me Out Collection available in Red and in Black showcases just that”.
Tammy Reese: Tell us about the Lace Me Out collection?
Shatava Lindsey: The Lace Me Out Collection is about embracing who you are no matter your size. As women, we have so many varying body types that I wanted to highlight this with the Lace Me Out Collection.
The collection was designed to make women feel sexy, confident, and fierce. When the items are worn, I wanted the women to feel like they own the room.
Tammy Reese: How would you describe your fashion style?
Shatava Lindsey: My fashion style varies. Depends on the type of mood that I am in. Sometimes I want to be comfy so I throw on some nice drawstring sweats and a cute t-shirt or cropped hoodie. There are times that I want to feel cute so I may throw on a dress and some heels.
When I want to feel sexy, I take the fashion up a few notches and wear a cute bodysuit top with a skirt or some sexy printed leggings with some thigh-high boots. It all depends. When I create collections, I keep all of these fashion styles in mind.
Tammy Reese: What feedback do you receive from your collections?
Shatava Lindsey: The feedback is always so positive. In fact, women love my goal of creating clothing to fit women of varying sizes. Before I started my line, I would become so frustrated at clothing not fitting me correctly.
I would often think, “What’s wrong with my size?” But then I realized, it’s not my size, it’s the clothing that is not meant to fit me.
So, my goal in designing was to always encompass women of all sizes so that they will understand that there are fashionable items out there that will fit them like a glove.
Tammy Reese: What celebrities have you styled?
Shatava Lindsey: I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing individuals.
My work on the show Sister Circle on TVOne allowed me to dress all the hosts on the show along with showcase OURGLASS styles to the world with my fashion segments.
Recently, my Dripped in Graffiti collection was seen on Amara Le Negra from Love and Hip Hop for her latest music video.
Tammy Reese: What impact do you thrive to make as an entrepreneur?
Shatava Lindsey: As an entrepreneur, I thrive to let people know that it is possible to create something from scratch, and with hard work and dedication, it can flourish beyond measure.
As long as you are focused on what you are doing and committed, your business with grow. I enjoy everything about OURGLASS.
This is why when I wake up every day, it is at the forefront of my mind.
Tammy Reese: What else can we be on the lookout for?
Shatava Lindsey: I really enjoy creating collections so I will definitely have a new one out in the future.
As I finish one collection, I am brainstorming on what to do for the next.
With each one, I take my time with the preparation so that when I release the looks, they are made with so much thought and perfection.
