Meet Demarcus Taylor
Demarcus Taylor is a personal and business financial strategist, author, life and executive coach. Demarcus decided to turn his pain into a business and live a life of service. As a teenager, Demarcus was a college student-athlete facing life in prison, which resulted in him running towards destructive activities for comfort.
He sold drugs, physically and mentally abused people, and worked at several unfulfilling jobs that would hire an ex-offender. He drastically developed himself to earn a six-figure salary as an Industrial Construction Manager to being broke, divorced, homeless living in his car, and taking showers at planet fitness.
Demarcus wrote his first book ‘Turn Your Catastrophe Into a Masterpiece’ and started his brand while homeless. In spite of his many hardships, Demarcus decided to free himself from the label of a felon and live a life of substance.
Tammy Reese: Describe yourself in three words?
Demarcus Taylor: Visionary, Resourceful, Resilient.
Tammy Reese: What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
Demarcus Taylor: Being rejected and not being in control of my destiny inspired me to become an
entrepreneur.
Tammy Reese: What do you love most about the work that you do?
Demarcus Taylor: The things I love the most about what I do is opening the eyes of individuals who
allowed their blind spots to hinder their unlimited possibilities and to help them become
the person or operating organization they’ve always dreamed of.
Tammy Reese: What are some obstacles you have faced in your life that resulted in triumph?
Demarcus Taylor: As a teenager, I faced life in prison. I went through a divorce, being homeless, and sleeping in
my car and taking showers at planet fitness with .75 cents in my bank account.
That happened for me to become an author, complete my 4-year degree, reach the highest certifications in the industrial construction industry, and generate $250k in cash last year.
Also, I purchased a franchise business and an apartment building to close the year 2020.

Tammy Reese: How do you use your business expertise to empower others?
Demarcus Taylor: I use my business expertise to empower others by bridging the gap between helping
others identify how they are so that they can open the window of who they are to create the infrastructure that’s been missing in the black community.
Tammy Reese: What are some highlights in your career you are most proud of?
Demarcus Taylor: Being self-sufficient, being a husband and father figure, creating generational wealth, getting my 4-year degree, becoming a best-selling author, and developing a program to help position other teams to become more effective.
Tammy Reese: Please tell us about the Super Power Discovery Program?
Demarcus Taylor: The Super Power Discovery Program will help you leverage how you are so that you can ultimately open the window of who you are to become extremely effective both at home and in your career.
We all have a default set of preferences, and this program helps you identify what they are and how they are and how to use them to your advantage.
The Super Power Discovery Program comes with the discovery assessment and a personalized strategic outline designed to help you perform at optimal levels in every area of your life, both personal and professional.

Tammy Reese: What else are you currently working on?
Demarcus Taylor: I currently launched another company called D&T Financial which is a financial aspect to the program where I help businesses establish business credit and guaranteed minimum of 50k in business funding by establishing business credibility, business congruency, and assisting in structuring businesses to be lender compliance.
Tammy Reese: What are you looking forward to in 2021?
Demarcus Taylor: Honestly, in 2021 I am looking forward to creating a “Triple Double Life”.
This means I attend on increasing my level of spirituality with God, increasing my intimacy in my
marriage, and increasing my financial intelligence for the year 2021.
Tammy Reese: What advice you would give others who may feel their past will prevent them
from success?
Demarcus Taylor: I’d say you’re more than enough to do exactly what you desire to do in your heart.
Allow the rejections, disbelief, and fear to be warning signs that you’re supposed to be doing exactly what you’re fearing to do.
If you break the barrier imagine how many other people are going to break the same barrier because you decided to run towards your fears. DO IT ANYWAY.
