Meet NDure

Natalie NDure Brooks discovered her love for music at an early age. She started writing at ten and singing at thirteen. She remembers distinctively sitting on her front porch writing and going to bed with music in her ears. Then, local rapper and producer Willie Lumpkin known as Adiyon gave her first start and the rest is history. From studio sessions to collaborations, talent shows, and more she gained recognition for her music and poetry and won awards as well in Buffalo, NY. She was nominated in 2008 for the R&B category in the international songwriting competition and won an award with Singers Paradise Hip-Hop Season 2014 to name a few.

NDure grew to build relationships with various music creators one that stands out and now her mentor Ramon Gooden of Digital Underground where she met in Atlanta. She has attended the I Create Music Expo where she met many other musicians from around the world, tried out for The Apollo and NBC The Voice. Her music has been played in Austin, TX on 88.7 FM KAZIFM, HOT 104.1 STL, BEAT 94.7 SC, and WBLK 93.7 and overseas in the UK. NDure has opened up for Blues singer Bobby Rush & Wu-Tang Clan member Judah Priest in Atlantic City. Many notable performances including the New York State Fair and the Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto. She recently played an extra role in the major motion picture The Purge 4 released in 2018, she has several other motion picture roles and many upcoming roles too.

A film which she wrote called “BREATHE” will be released in late 2021. NDure has had the pleasure to host the Red Carpet for Mr. John Blassinggame of New Day Associates in Newark, NJ interviewing the most prominent entertainers and business people of our industry today! She is featured in several magazines including Independent Artist Magazine, TopCat Magazine, London Le BlANC, and Divulge Magazine advertising her new fragrance NDURE. Her writing skills have expanded into magazines writing articles for such magazines as Lovely Lady and more. She has launched her perfume NDureNY on her online store ETSY. Recently released a NEW single and music video “Start Loving Me”. Under NDure Entertainment she’s working hard pressing forward and not stopping any time soon.

Tammy Reese: What inspired you to get into the music industry?

NDure: Listening to Mary J Blige Album “What’s the 411”.

Tammy Reese: How did becoming a media professional come about?

NDure: Well I started involving myself in live performances such as talent shows, tv appearances, outdoor concerts, and I was told that my drive and dedication couldn’t go unnoticed and God Blessed me with more opportunities to approach as I grew as an artist.

Tammy Reese: What are some memorable moments in your career so far?

NDure: When I was on the Red Carpet hosting for NewDay Associates, when I performed for America’s Got Talent competition, and when my book first got published.

Tammy Reese: What have been some challenges?

NDure: Promoting Properly, and balancing my career and my personal life.

Tammy Reese: What are you currently working on?

NDure: My Album Misplaced, my clothing line @Peace, and my relaunch campaign for NDure Fragrance.

Tammy Reese: What are you looking forward to in the coming year?

NDure: I am looking forward to a Publishing Deal, releasing my album Misplaced, and relaunching my fragrance.

Tammy Reese: How has the pandemic shaped your day-to-day life?

NDure: Not having the ability to physically connect with my fans and doing live performances.

Tammy Reese: How do you balance family and career?

NDure: Having a spiritual relationship with God and trusting in the Lord to guide my footsteps.

Tammy Reese: What are some of your favorite songs and why?

NDure: “Decisions” was a reflection of the current relationship I was in. I used it as a platform to vent out and to give my all. “Because of You” I was calm and collective having the ability to express and show my appreciation for my friends, family. Most importantly “Start Loving Me” still is my all-time favorite song and is based upon a true story. I had to sing about the pain in my heart and learn how to cope with losing my friend in the midst of my spiritual transition with God.

Tammy Reese: If you can work with any music artist who would it be and why?

NDure: Mary J. Blige of course. Mary has a special gift for connecting with her audience. She never half steps with expressing her feelings and she always breathes life into her words.

Tammy Reese: What else can we be on the lookout for from you?

NDure: Short Films, the relaunch of NDure Fragrance, Releasing my album, and designs from my latest Clothing Line @PEACE.

Tammy Reese: What do you want your legacy to look like?

NDure: That I was well dedicated and determined to stay focused and keeping God first in all that I do.

Tammy Reese: What advice would you have for anyone who wants to become a music artist?

NDure: KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! There should never be a dull moment in any artist’s life. Self-love, Self preservation, and self educate as much as possible. Also, pray and study.

Tammy Reese: How can we find your music?

NDure: Google search NDURENY and from there it should show all the resources that are available for music downloads such as Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, and Apple Music.

NDure: First and foremost I want to thank God for allowing me another day to try, learn, teach, and to live out his purpose for my life. My girlfriend Tammy Reese I admire her so much for her passion for her craft and her work ethic a woman to look up to indeed and she gave me this interview. My children for being my inspiration and my motivation, for sticking by my side, and for all those sleepless nights and days. Shout out to my mom for attending all my shows and participating in all my events and most importantly being a great Mom I love you. To my father, my sister, extended family, and friends, also my enemies I would not be the woman before you if you didn’t do what was needed to be who I am today anointed and highly favored.
